It is sold in europe with minor changes as the F480. Apparently they lock the GPS there. Boggles the Mind that theyve locked down so much. Especially most accelerometer functions. Its like this phone was an after thought..  this $300ish+ phone and they could give a damn about support. I'll be leaving tmobile when my contracts up because of this.

I believe someone took it apart
(http://www.formymobile.co.uk/toccodisassembly.php - different site though) and said it had a wifi chip. Thing is without the os being set up to handle wifi theres no "setting" you can click. IF samsung included that in the firmware sure but it is veyr doubtful.

the one thing that i grow more confused about.. this is the second fasters phone ive owned. The other had a 400mhz chip in it and positively FLEW running WM5. either touchwiz is bloated beyond belief and badly coded or theres a lot of extra code in there doing nothing.

Someday these idiot cell companies will start producing open hardware. The g1 and iphone are eating everyones lunch. The only reason EVERYONE doesnt own them is the requirement to have a net connection (another scam to rip you off).

BTW having wifi on my other phone?? AWESOME

One more site suggests that Behold DOES have WiFi

http://www.cellstores.com/HelperPages/PhoneDetails.aspx?PhoneId=27469&cid=35159_999313e8b668485e9861bc1765bcae2a&phoneBundleID=82827&action=swap&viewmode=1

Scroll down to "Technical Specifications"
Data Download Speed - GPRS Class 10 (Up to 70 Kbps), EDGE (Up to 120 Kbps), WiFi b and g (Up to 24 Mbps)

Yes, we can do it. We infiltrate t-mobile, like get employed there, or basically sending a spy. Spy steals the hardware/software that they use to lock stuff on the phones, and sends software copies to us. And if it's actually a hardware then we send him our phones and he unlocks everything for us.

why would tmobile be so happy and not make the wifi work for us?
If you use WiFi calling t-mobile can't charge you for roaming even if you use your phone in japan Smiley So, in order to "make" money and stopping you to avoid those charges they maybe block WiFi.
