This tip works awesome, I've changed the JAD file for numerous programs including amAze, Gmail, Lighttower, Mobile Pilot and it works great!

I just edit the JAD file by adding the above line of text and then copy the new JAD file via TKexplorer into the appropriate folder on the phone and it works right away, no update of Java database is necessary.

Great tip!

Nice..The arrows were so annoying in touch games...but did anyone figure out how to remove the white space and replace it with the current game/app?

On all the applications I have applied this to the application fills the whole screen top to bottom, no white at the bottom.

I can confirm that on Google Maps, MGMaps, GMail, and amAze, that this trick removes the buttons, and makes it full screen, with no white space.

i've also done the same w/ the same results.  but question about amAze full screen...

in amAze, when i have to select state in the Regional Settings, I can't scroll down the list to select Pennsylvania, USA.  it won't scroll and i'm stuck in the "A's" section.

Here is a pretty lousy fix for setting the region in amaze.

To scroll down, press the bottom bar just before the place names. This will choose the region that would appear next if scrolling down were possible. Repeat until arriving at your desired location. Scrolling up is easy, just choose the top name, then repeat.

Works for me full screen with just the one string of code. Can't wait to see what's next!

Okay here's a related question...I tried Playing ZumZum on my phone and the left and right arrow buttons don't work to move the shooter left and right. you have to switch to the number buttons, but the number buttons aren't laid out like they are on a normal keypad.

Is there a way to switch the number pad to the standard config (123 on top, 456 in middle and 789 on bottom)?

As far as Opera is concerned....what is the correct way to get to the keypad to type in a site? This is of course after the full screen hack.

so far, "MIDlet-Touch-Support: True" only works successfully on apps. i haven't had any luck with editing cursor based games into full touchscreen games. =[

yea doubt you will get non touch screen games to work because its the jar file's programming that tells it to be touchscreen
