Text Message - Repeat??

I have a 2 second sound that I wanted to use for my text message sound. When people text me it takes a second for the phone to respond and come to full volume, being only 2 seconds you never here the sound. On the other hand, ringtones no matter how long always repeat over and over until call is answered. Is there anyway to get your text to repeat like a ringtone or should I cut and copy the 2 sec. sound and make it repeat in an sound editor program?

No way to make it repeat over and over but you could add silence in the begging for 2 seconds

The ringtone system on this phone is utterly horrible.. it really is... text message ringtones wont stop... cant control the starting volume... it seems like every single day, something else goes wrong with my phone, and Im afraid this supposed update is gonna be far from a cure-all. Im truly dissolusioned with this phone

To make the text sound repeat periodicly go to settings sound pick normal at the top pull down tab hit message the third item is message alert repetition set it to periodic and it will continue to ring off and on until picked up
