I found a nice phone IRC app that lets you take advantage of proxies and as you know, proxies mean free internet Cheesy

http://jmirc.sourceforge.net/

I can't supply you with the proxy, but you guys are free to share proxies with eachother. Though you may not want to make it public because people can get you banned from IRC servers.

All you need to do is make a proxy with "tmobile" in its domain. So you could host the proxy yourself and just use DynDNS or something to get make it free. If you need me to i could make a subdomain for you like tmobile<yourname>.pinoygamers.tk and have it linked to your IP. (Though if you have a dynamic IP, you may need to tell me when your IP updates.)

Did you tried galaxy?

Tho it shouldn't because it wasn't installed thru Tk and and wasnt modded nor built with the proxy.

So, you're basically saying none of the proxies are working on your phone atm?

Then you is doing something wrong. Make sure your internal settings are correct, and then clear all of your web stuff (Menu > Web). That's all I can think of.

try resetting your phone by going into internals and doing it.
step 1: dial *#6984125*#
Step 2: go to network & call settings
Step 4: go to connections and click restore.

hope it works:)

Ok guys...
I really forgot to mention that it does really use those web based proxies, but rather this java based IRC proxy that was coded for jmIRC.

You might want to ask the owners of those tmobile web proxies to run this proxy and open a tcp port for it.

I'm sorry I didn't tell you guys about that earlier...

Go to the directory it's in, then use:
java -jar HttpIrcProxy-0.37.jar -p <port> -w <password>

You don't need to use -w if you don't want it to be password protected.

Just forward the TCP port you chose, and configure jmIRC on your phone to use your computer as a proxy. You need to have a address with "tmobile" in it, so get a subdomain from DynDNS or just tell me the IP of your server and i can make you a CNAME.
