Difference between Master Reset, POWER+VOLUME Reset, and Preconfiguration

Anyone know the difference between the different resets on this phone? I know 3 ways to reset it:

Master Reset through Settings
Preconfiguration through *#6984125*#
Holding Power + Both Volume keys when you turn on your phone

The last one, power + volume keys is kinda weird. You get this blue screen with a progress meter at the bottom. Then the whole display turns green without any other notification.
