Samsung Behold - 3g Broken?

3g Broken?

I know this might be in the wrong topic so feel free to move this if you want but recently, i dove in to a swimming with my behold in my pocket so it stopped working for 3 days until i saved it some how... I also reflashed my behold firmware so it started working again. I started using the opera mini 5 app with 3g for a while and suddenly 3g stopped working...

3g doesn't appear in my homescreen anymore and it uses edge now while my brothers behold has 3g everywhere...

is this because my phone got damaged from the water or is it some kind of faulty hardware?

srry for the late reply,
its fully possible that the phones antena was soaked and damaged causing it to be a faulty hardware. also re adjusting ur sim card might help. i ve heard tht loose cards cant get a good signal

ya i believe its faulty hardware from water damage because i tried the sim card thing and there was no result

I'm thinking of buying an iPhone 3G and unlocking it from my friend

I don't even care if my 3G is broken because I don't really use Internet on my phone because it's so frustrating. I have an iPod touch too so I think I'll use that rather than my phone for internet
