Hi everyone! I was just wondering does anyone know any way to stop songs from copying in the music player once you set them as a ringtone. Sometimes I set a song as a ringtone for multiple people, and it copies every time. I searched the forum to the best of my abilities, but still came up with nothing. If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum. I do not think that this can be done...I'd wondered the same thing some time ago and didn't find a fix.

i think it does, here is wat i used to do, if u only want the song as a ringtone but not for the musix player, try moving the song file to the phones memory so that if it does duplicate(wich didnt for me) it will only show up in the sounds section of the phone memory not the sd card, hopes this jelps

I believe it depends on the mp3 format, because some songs I have set didn't copy to the phone and just access the one copy that is on my memory card.  I couldn't tell you which format it works with, I just know there is one, that way you can save the phones memory for more games and whatever else.
