I did a search, but I'm not sure what to search for.
On my kids Behold, it just stays on as in no auto lock, no screen saver, not blacked out screen.
He said it has been doing this off an on since the got it(a week ago today).
Is there a setting we should check?
I am well within the 30 days to return it, but I just put the shield on it yesterday.

does it lock if you push the lock button on the side? the auto-lock option is in menu-settings-phone settings.

If I am understanding his problem correctly.
He said it only does it after he has watched videos and if he restarts the phone it works again.
In his settings he had the keypad lock set to off, but still I would think the phone would still go black if it wasn't being used.

I called customer support on this issue that I had as well. I was working a nine hour shift and only used my phone to send 3 text messages and ignore a few phone calls. At the end of my shift my battery only had one bar left. Before calling I tried to mess with the settings but still did not fix the problem. I felt pretty dumb because I went all over the place on my phone to figure out how to do this lol. Finally after waiting on hold for a few minutes the nice customer rep informed me what to do. I told her that I already did the following:
1. Menu
2. Settings
3. Display Settings
4. Backlight Time
5. Selected 8 seconds.
6. Save
7. LCD Brightness
8. Level = 2

She then asked me to go back to LCD Brightness and sellect On for Automatic. After I did that I turned my phone off and turned it back on and...IT WORKED! The screen goes blank after 30 seconds of not using it. So go ahead and do that. You may also want to do the following to lock your keypad when its not in use:

1. Menu
2. Settings
3. Phone Settings
4. Auto Keypad Lock - On

I hoped this helped you out! I'm a newb to all this but I'm learning! ;-)
Lol. Take care and God bless.
