Hey guys, looking for some help desperately. My phone is in really bad shape. It lags awfully, it's almost impossible to do anything. I can't tell if it's just the phone in general or the touchscreen causing the lag. The screen has a scratch on it but that never caused any performance issues and I manages to cover it up with a screen protector. I called T-Mobile and asked if I could get a completely different phone (while paying the price difference, I don't mind paying $50 or so). They said the only option is to have me send it in and whatever and maybe get a refurbished phone. RadioShack also gave me a similar offer. The problem is, I hate the Behold. The thing has lagged from day 1, getting worse and worse every day. When I play around on my friend's phones I am always astonished to how much better the performance is compared to my Behold. I just want to drop the touchscreen all together, and I'm looking at the Gravity 2 specifically. My contract is up in about a year, and I plan on canceling and switching to Sprint then. Any ideas on how to convince them to let me switch phones?

I think, if you tell them that you lost the phone, they'll let you do a partial upgrade. You still pay more than the regular 2 year upgrade, but it's better than buying a phone full price.  Undecided

Gotcha, thanks. I think I'm just gonna hold it out for one more year and then switch to Sprint. My moms contract is up so I might just give her my Behold and buy an Evo. Who knows.

Lol, nothing can beat that Evo but do you have like a 1yr warranty on your phone? Tell them about the problems on the Behold (the lags, random reboots, choppy scrolling, etc.) and see if you can trade it in.

To be honest, I've always had problems with the Behold being laggy. I would even be totally fine getting a Gravity 2. No matter what happens, I'm switching to Sprint at the end of my contract, I never realized how cheap they are.

The only option that they gave me when I took it in/called multiple times was sending it in and receiving a refurbished Behold. I just don't want a Behold anymore, I've had enough.

This EvanGreene guy got lucky and traded in a messed up Behold 1 for a Behold 2 (android). Were you not able to do that?

Every time I go in/call, the only option they give me is to send it in. I wish they would offer me a Behold 2 though, lol.
