Hey there. First off let me say that i do not own a behold but rather a memoir.  I decided to post on the behold forum because...well...the memoir forum seems a little...dead.

On that note, seeing as tho the two phones are basically the same except for the camera i figured that it wouldnt be such a big deal.

My question has more to do with t-mobile rather than the phone itself.

I DO NOT have a data plan on my phone. I DO have an unlimited domestic messaging plan.  When i had my razor v3t i could send an receive picture messages.  But with this phone i cant.  I want to figure out how i can do this without getting an expensive data plan, because i feel like i am already paying for them with the $15 unlimited text messaging plan.

Also, from what i understand, using AIM takes away from your text messages instead of needing a data plan.  The thing is i cant sign on to AIM.  In both cases, when i try to do either (picture messaging and signing on to AIM) i get a "service unavailable" message on my phone.

Any help in getting these 2 things to work would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, this forum rocks! I've learned so much about my memoir from browsing thru this forum.

Thanks.

Umm. I say go to T-mobile about it. I have the Unlimited Domestic Messaging plan also and i can go on AIM and send picture messages. The best thing to do is speak with a TMo rep.

I would go to TMobile as well.  It sounds like you have a problem with your phone.  If you have unlimited messaging, or any messaging plan, that is semi-recent it covers text and picture messages (SMS & MMS).  Also, AIM should work.  Yes, it does use your text message for every message you send and receive.
