When I set my cam to save the pictures to the memory card, it works for like a day or less.

Then later, it saves to the internal memory again. I keep having to set it before taking pictures. It's getting annoying. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix for this?

Is it just a bug?

Hi, anytime you restart your phone or the battery dies, I think it defaults back to the original setting for the camera.  At least mine does.

I've got 2 Beholds & a master with the camera & all the settings. I love it so much & use it all the time! I can say from conducting several tests on this issue that the only way this happens is if you plug your phone to your computer & select "Mass Storage". What I'm saying is, it doesn't matter if you restart your phone or even take the battery out, it will still keep the memory card setting... but the second you plug your phone to your computer & select "Mass Storage", it resets from memory card back to phone (internal memory). That's the real answer. Logicaly, it does this cause you're using the memory card when you select it in PC mode. How to stop this from happening? Not sure. One thing I can say is once you know what makes the phone change, the problem is far less annoying. Try this quick test:

1. Set your phone to memory card then restart it & recheck the settings. It will be the same.
2. Now keep the same memory card settings but this time, restart by taking your battery out. You'll still have the same memory card setting (nothing will change).
3. Keeping the memory card setting, plug your phone to your PC & select "PC Studio". Unplug & look at the settings... Once again, no change.
4. Keeping the memory card setting, plug your phone to your PC & select "Mass Storage". Unplug & look at the settings... it changed back to phone.

Oh, OK.  I don't use the camera on a day to day basis so when it did change back to the phone default I didn't notice exactly when it happened.  All I could think was when the phone restarted it reset.  Thanks for clearing that up.   Cool

I feel you... I thought the same thing till I got so frustrated that I sat down & figured it out. I thought it was some sort of timed setting, like you set it for memory & it stays that way for a certian length of time then switches back to default... lol.
