So i was messing around this morning and ran across VIO http://vio.thepiratebay.org/ and decided to try it out.  Works pretty good. compression is great and does reduce video quality.  You wanna put vids on your fone, try this out.

SO here you go.

TUTORIAL.
 Install and run VIO.
Select the movie you wanna convert.  you can hit advance settings and put them in yourself. Or click the drop down under optimized for and choose F480 (samsung original behold)

Compressed a 700mb movie into about 180 mb.  cuts the sound and video frame rate by a 4th. but you can change that if you want.  IF YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT VIDEO AND SOUND I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND MESSING WITH THE SETTINGS.

Click Convert Video.  Take 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the movie.

OBTW.  YES IT CROPS THE MOVIE TO MAKE IT WIDESCREEN FORMAT. You can change it to 320x240 but not sure how much of the movie will get cut if you do this. And it saves the files in MP4 format.

Been playing with this and if you set it to 320x200 it pretty much fills in the whole screen. I just converted Max Payne like that it and it full screen.

Tried Babylon A.D at 320x220 but it cuts off the top and the bottom and doesn't give you the option to set the zoom.

ok, after alot of testing today I found these setting work the best: 320x200 and a frame rate of 15.
With these settings using Mediacoder, videos using zoom are nice and smooth.

so 320x200 worked on mediacoder too?  So i guess we got a standard for the behold going.  320X200.

yes, the one thing i like about mediacoder is you can crop the horizontal bars out before you convert the video. The beholds screen itself is already wide screen size, no need to take up any space for bars. Its also good for increasing the audio. I found when converting a IFO (dvd) file, the audio is kind of low. I set it at 20db.

i convert my movies to dvd with "ZC DVD CREATOR PLATINUM".  Haven't had any problems with sound on that so far.  And DVD's come out almost 440I clarity.
