Hello

I have replied to a few posts, but have yet to introduce myself.  I am 30 years old, in the 5th year of mathematics grad school, finishing up a PhD relating to Superprocesses, and have purchased my first mobile phone ever.  I love the behold, but mainly because it is a fun challenge to see what can be done with it.  I have created an archive containing TkFileExplorer, JadMaker, and the jar/jad files for Google maps 2.3.2 (touch screen capable), Gmail (jad rewritted to allow for full screen), and GMaps (free GPS alternative to Tele Nav).  It can be downloaded via the link

I should also add that upon unzipping there is a folder called JavaInstall, which contains tkfileexplorer.  There is a zip file, which has already been unzipped to this folder, so you can ignore this.  There is also a file Setup.exe, which when run, will install the driver necessary to run tkfileexplorer.

Hello all been lurking for a few weeks since getting my Behold, love it.  I don't have a data plan for my phone yet, but want to get all the goodies on to it before hand.  I have DL the file is this thread and unzipped it.  I have SPS3 and TK.  I have seen the threads on on how to add apps, haven't watched Persians vid yet,  but it seems like there is more files than I need.  I understand the jad/jar deal to get things to work on the phone.  What about the other archives in this DL?

Thanks

Hello all,
New to this forum, just got my Behold last night. I am new to this whole internet/multimedia phone and upgrading and adding software to it. I was hesitant to get the Behold and instead was going to get the G1 solely for the Android platform and the Google maps GPS. In the end I chose the Behold because I think Android is still in the works and would rather wait for all the bugs to be taken care of.

When I signed up, they told me about TeleNav but I didn't realize there was a free alternative? I am very interested in this GMaps (and some of the other apps as well) but have no clue how to install it. I have watched the video (very helpful), downloaded eveything in it, and I think I understand that process (have yet to try it). The link in this thread however is not as straight forward; I downloaded everything via wrar and put it in a folder but now what? I would like to download these apps and think I have everything needed but just need guidance on how to do it....

Thanks in advance

Do I do this from the phones browser or via usb hooked to a computer?
