Alright so I was looking into the phone's memory with the tkfileexplorer and I looked at a folder that contained the pictures that are locked. Well I was thinking of either just renaming the picture that I wanted to install to replace the current one or deleting it and then putting in what i wanted. Coming from a background of hacking PSPs, deleting from the internal stuff is not a good idea. So i tried to replace the file with what i wanted but with the same file name and i get a connection error saying how it can't be done or something. but when i take something from the phone onto my comp there wasn't any problems. I'm sure if we can find a way how to replace these locked files, we will be able to have our own custom screensaver. Anyone got any ideas?

I couldnt find the folder. I went into nv_default.ini and tried changing the screensaver/idle location to my current wallpaper. It did nothing. I am guessing the .ini is disabled. I also saw a lot of things in tkfileexplorer for WLAN and video call.

Where are the screensavers located?

hey. alright so i don't remember the exact folder but it ended is "fs" and within that enter the folder MEDIA then IMAGES i think. anyways, I figured this was the locked folder for the PHOTO folder in the phone because there are 11 pre-installed screens that the screensaver is directed into looking at and from using tkfileexplorer there's 11 .jpg images. The first ones are labeled as tmobile stuff and the other ones are labeled as wallpaper. I'll have a look at it later because I uninstalled the drivers.

And thats pretty cool that you found a file for videocall or whatever it was. I noticed in the admin settings that there was an option to enable an FMRadio. I didn't activate for fear of bricking the phone. maybe you tried it?

I haven't tried. I have ben messing with .ini files hoping to activate hidden features. No luck yet.

ok so here's the folder that the locked .jpg are in that the phone looks at for the screensaver:

Connect with TfFileExplorer then:

SystemFS> Media> Click Images.

You will see Tmobile Wallpaper 1-5 .jpg and Wallpaper 1-6 .bmp images. Now if we can find a way to switch them out, i'm sure the images we put will show when the phone is locked. I keep getting a Warning: Unexpected Has Occured During Transfer message. Any ideas?

Damn. I know it has something to do with that folder being locked. maybe if there is a way to edit it, we'll be able to see how they set it up to allow you to take things from the folder or use another folder without a lock and just use that code or whatever to replace the lockout code. Maybe someone will find the way.

Nice suggestion but unfortunately the same error message appears. Maybe the key lies within the admin settings to remove the locks from files? I have noticed an option to, I assume, access an FMRadio.....?? I remember reading about that from somone saying that this was a supposed feature but was removed.

Welp i found bootloader on the phone. Set the debug level to high and it rebooted then started bootload for msm6290 uploader ver 5.43

damn dude, so your phone bricked, huh? that's why i didnt delete anything from the phone from tkfilexplorer because, in the case of a PSP, it will result in a brick and then I gotta use a Pandora Battery to bring it back to life. I sent you those .ini files but if there's a program out there to flash the firmware, just let me know how to dump the firmware and i'll send it to you.
