I was able to download and install Operamini on my behold, but then when i go to start up the browser it says "Failed to connect to the internet Go to http://www.operamini.com/blahbalhallthatgoodstuff"

I was wondering do i need a dataplan to use it, or is it something that i did wrong?

Yes your going to need that data plan. Unless using blue tooth to connect to the internet through your computer. I read on here there's a application for that.

Anyone figure out how to make opera full screen? I seen you could flip it, but those arrow keys are keeping it little.

Hi - I have the same problem. I have the data plan, but the opera mini can't connect to the internet.  I downloaded the 4.2 English USA version.  Please help.....how do I fix this?  Also, with the opera mini, will I be able to get to hotmail?  I talked to T-Mobile and the rep said T-Mobile does not support hotmail.

i do not have a hotmail account but i just tried to go to hotmail using opera mini and it loaded right up to the login page for hotmail, but i do not know if it will allow you to login and actually read your mail

The behold internal email is not compatible with hotmail, but any of the browsers are (assuming full html).  If you are having trouble downloading opera mini, try to download the different signed versions (verisign, thawte, etc), one of these should work.

Ok so your go to phone and dial *#6984125*#, then the Admin Settings will come up. Then go Network and Call Settings, then Connections, then Browser, then change the Access Name to wap.voicestream.com, then scroll down to Proxy Address and enter 216.155.165.50:8080, then scroll down to Advanced Settings, check the box that says Static DNS, then for Server One enter 216.155.175.40, and Server Two enter 216.155.175.41. and you are done.

Ok to get Opera Mini. Before you download go to Menu, Web, Browser Settings, Preferences and turn OFF Java Script. I don’t know if you really have to do this but the person who taught me told me to do this so just do it. Then go to http://www.operamini.com click on “If this version fails to install or you would like to install a pervious version, please click here.” Then I think it is the one that says “Download Opera Mini! (English (USA), Verisign Certificate). If it is not that one then it is one of the other two, just try all three till one works. My Java Script is currently ON so I don’t know if it really needed to be turned off or if it only needed to be turned OFF to download properly.

On the Samsung Browser some pages will load as mobi pages first, but if you hit classic or full page it will display the full html page, Opera Mini is a lot faster and doesn’t have any cliches so I suggest you download it.

Hi guys -  THANKS so much for responding!  I downloaded the versign version and it worked and I can get to hotmail (took 2 tries though to get the internet connection part working).  Smiley  I just got this phone, so I'm sure I'll have more questions on other stuff. Thanks again!
