I am very weak with java, so I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question, but is it possible to remove the java touch buttons (on the bottom of the screen) from apps such as google maps?  I have tried messing with the jad file, but all i can do is change the appearance of the buttons. Any ideas would be appreciated.  thank you

since java does not link to hardware removing the buttons would in some cases make the apps useless. just deal with them.  Not like they keep poking you in the rib cage.
