Has anyone installed the apps by downloading it from the computer to the phone by using GetJar? Since the direct doesn't work, I thought I'd try by using the "more advanced method" but GetJar hasn't been helpful with that.

Can anyone help me? Thanks :]

You will need to Google JADMaker and download it.  Once you go to getjar and download the jar file drag the jar file onto JadMaker and it will instantly create a jad file.  Both the jar and jad files are needed for apps to work.

Next, follow the instructions posted here (they're stickied at the top of this section):  http://www.samsung-behold.com/index.php?topic=1437.0

You're welcome.  I also recommend checking out the Third Party Software and Games sections of this forum.  There are alot of great apps already uploaded with both the jar and jad files.

I found that keeping that JADmaker folder open when you drag your JAR files in helps me. Have you done that?

Welcome to the forum.  JADMaker works extremely fast so fast that it doesn't appear to do anything. The only way you know it worked is a jad file suddenly appears. Check the folder where you put your jar file and make sure it didn't make a jad.

Apps with both the jar and jad files can be downloaded from this forum.  Check out the Third Party Software Section and Games.  I highly recommend Snaptu and there are loads of others to choose from.

BTW, what app are you needing?  Maybe it's already on here.  If not, I can see if I can upload it for you.

Also, since you have no internet plan, I recommend checking out Telenubby's thread here (if you haven't already):  http://www.samsung-behold.com/index.php?topic=4895.0
