how to save text messages to PC

is this possible guys? My behold is malfunctioning and I will be getting a new phone and I have a text message folder that I would like to save onto my pc. This there a way to do this? Thanks

you might be able to copy it using tk file explorer, but I am not positive since I never tried it.
