Hello....

Getting t-moblie beholds this weekend for my and my wife and was wondering why do the videos on youtube look so small on the screen.I went to the t-moblie store and went to youtube and the videos look tiny compared ot the larger screen. Now i know you can increase the size by enlargeing it or stretching it but it makes it very blurry.

Thanks so much. Adrian

I believe if you tap on the screen, theres a small box on the top left, you press it it makes it bigger

i dont think there is a solution to that unless someone changes the internals or someone makes a special format especially for the behold

This is kind of a long process...but it works great!  Download "Free Youtube Downloader" from here: http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/products/dvd/Free-YouTube-Download.htm

You can use this program to download youtube videos to your computer.  Download them in MP4 format.

Then download MediaCoder from here:  http://mediacoder.sourceforge.net/index.htm

Use media coder to transcode the videos you downloaded into a format that the phone can support.  I found the instructions on here somewhere and I'm sorry to not give props where deserved but I forgot where I found it.

I use these settings:

Very High Quality
MP4 Format
320x240 Resolution
25 fps
on the audio tab I gain 6 db
under transcode select "manual croppping" then under mode select "auto detect".

Then all you have to do is import the videos to your phone.  You will still have black bars on the sides because the video portion of the behold only supports 320x240 but the image will take up the entire space vertically and the quality is pretty awesome.

As far as watching them from Youtube directly, you are stuck with what you get.  Youtube allows uploading of several different aspect ratios and adapts each to fit the same size screen by adding a black background.

I have a 2 Gig card and about 15 vids on my Behold with about 80% still free.

I hope this helps somewhat.

Tubetilla is software that after you download it to your computer you can just copy and paste the url of the youtube video and it will copy the video. Tubetilla will give you the option to format it into mp4 to be able to play on your phone. Just drag and drop them in to your phone video folder. To answer your question, Tubetilla is the mp4 downloader.

Thanks Persian...I tried this but I must say...I'm not a fan of Tubetilla.  You can only download one vid at a time.  With my suggestion above you can queue up several.  It also doesn't allow you to control all of the converter functions (such as fps, db gain, rez, etc)...at least the free version doesn't allow it.  Also, it wasn't really any faster than what I was already using.  It's a great suggestion though for those out there that aren't as picky as I am.  I will keep it on my computer so I can used it for the vids I want to save to just my PC and not on my phone though.  If I am missing something with this program please let me know.
