well you need the behold 1, not the behold 2... otherwise it works and should work fine.

On the v1 or v2, sorry i'm asking so many ??, but i'm determinded to get this fixed, hopefully!! Mine is the behold T919, so would it matter if it is a v1 or v2, i'm actually not sure on the inside it don't say, so i imagine its a v1?

It worked great for me!
I've started with a frozen phone.  It'd get stuck on the t-moblie logo.

I had to get Qualcomm drivers in order for my PC to recognize it.  I've googled the driver name that windows was asking for and found the driver in some other forum (had to register to download it).

Worked beautifully!  Much appreciated.  Qualcomm drivers were necessary for me... installed them, and step by step was noob proof.

Can I ask where you found them or have a link for them? I am trying to find them on google and I get a lot of random files that have no bearing on the Qualcomm drivers we need.

Cheers,

Paul

Toast,

I appreciate your time and effort to put instructions on how to fix my Behold.  Unfortunately, having followed your steps, the downloader does not find a port for me to use.  Maybe it's because I need the drivers (your link for driver is broken).  Because when I plug the thing in, the XP new hardware wizard pops up but I cannot locate a driver for this device (asking for QUALCOM CDM technolgies driver)
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hey, I did all the steps and even ran the Downloader as administrator, but still got nothing appearing on the bottom boxes. Yes, it does say More than Downloader V5.43

[EDIT]: When plugged in, it makes a sound, but not the ordinary "Plugged in Device" sound.
[EDIT2]: It says I don't have the driver, but yet I already installed and restarted my computer. Any help with that?
