I thought i would post my question in here, well cause that's where i found what i thought would be the answer, I have been trying for 2 day's to "unbrick" this damn behold.. I followed all the steps, step by step, even printed them out so i wouldn't have to flip back and forth on the screens.. I've had two outcomes, one is you can watch the screen on the behold and it will "download the files" and you can watch the progress, then i've had it just like a rolling screen with words going so fast you cant' make any out...But both times when the phone restarted, it was right back to the same... It will boot tell the web at your fingertips screen then shut down.. If you keep it plugged in to the comp. or wall outlet it will keep showing what looks like the batt. charging, but as soon as you unplug it, nothing.. Somehow i know i got to be missing something small, just cause i read how many people got theres up and runnin.... I do know it does have a hard time recognizing it in the device manager, because of the non stop on and off.. Would that have anything to do with it?  I does see it in the boot loader.. UGH....

What OS are you using?

It seems like you have an incurable device error. Is your SIM card in/out? Try it both ways. Is your memory card in? Take it out. Are you doing the full firmware flash, and not the partial one? Do the full.

Thanks for the help Toast, but i think it's a lost cause.. I tried it on a different machine and got the same result. I think the only fix maybe that i'm fixin to throw it in the trash.. Just is mind boggling how so many have gotten theres to work, and i keep batting a zero, for some reason i still think i'm missing something somewhere, but don't have a clue... I never had any problems "fixing", "loading" or "testing" any other kind of device, think i may have met my match! Once again, Thanks for your advise.

Sounds like you need to charge it, or there is hardware damage.

Coke, sorry your Behold could not get fixed. Sometimes, flashing can screw up for many reasons, and sometimes it can screw it up beyond repair. One more thing though... Since you cannot load it anyways, try loading boot files too? It might help.

In the full flash, you add the boot files right?  That is what i tried both the full flash and partial, with no luck, unless you are suggesting doing a flash with just the boot files?  Sorry to be so confusing, I live in a state of confusion!!  With both the full and partial i get the same results, Like it tries to turn on but shuts down again and tries to restart, with no luck.. Even tried on a different machine, ugh.... I would really like to concur e  it, but not lookin that way..

I just thought of something, what if it happins to be a version 1 unstead of 2, would that make a difference in the files?  just an idea...
