>>>>>  calibration issue still persists <<<<< Please HELP !!!!!!

Hello guys, i was successfully able to re-flash my Samsung behold using the steps provided Mr. Toast, I did both B and C resets,  but once the phone initially restarted it never asked me to do the recalibration of the screen and the touch location is still way off. Is there anything else I can try, maybe an updated firmware? I used T919UVHL3. I can't navigate through the menu to recalibrate it like the normal way.

Thanks for any help is greatly appreciated..

toast - thanks man.  this is a great post and i just saved my phone after trying too much Smiley

instructions are great.  i read thru all the pages of this post and most ppls problems r when they first plug in the phone.  you need the drivers below for qualccom  then you can find the com port and go from there.  if it doesn't pop up after that you need to try from a diff pc

thanks again bro

Agreed, I cant wait for Beholdgirl to come through.  I have  been after hax for this phone since I got it almost a year ago...
I did the partial update to my phone (anyone else try it with win7? i had issues with the qualcomm drivers installing, I had to use 7's XP mode to make it work.

Also here are the kinda hard to find qualcomm drivers...

This is my g.f's phone, and she hates her mytouch 3g and wants her beloved Behold back after dropping it in water. Unfortunately, its been 2 years since the water damage incident and she did blow dry it but to no avail. Now in my possession to try and fix, i actually have gotten the OS to load up (even though 95% of the time i get the dreaded bootloader error) and the phone has been usable.

I stripped the entire phone down, cleaned it out with rubbing alcohol, turned it on and it worked! so i take the battery out, put it back to see if i get the same result, nope, bootloader error ever since.  It is late as hell here, so I'm gonna try this stuff tomorrow and will keep you posted after i try to clean it out with some more rubbing alcohol.
