Appreciate Persian for clearing this up for me.

Most people don't know about this program and its really easy to use and free.

Called Tubetilla
www.tubetilla.com

Pretty much, copy+paste youtube link, and convert it to a variety of files including mp4 (what runs on our phone) as well as just a regular mp3 file.

Works GREAT.  and its soo simple.

i don't mean to thread jack, but you can also type in "kick" in front of the URL and it will take you to a page where you select the format you want to download.  no need for extra software.

go here for more info and instructions: http://kickyoutube.com/

do it from your PC to download the file and then transfer it over to your phone.

really?  mine works fine in Firefox.  i'm using version 3.0.5.

here's what i do step-by-step on Firefox:

1) find the video on youtube
2) add "kick" to the url (example: www.KICKyoutube.com/...)
3) select MP4 (or whatever format you want)
4) click on the green GO icon
5) when the green GO icon turns into a blue DOWN icon, right click on it and select SAVE LINK AS...

hope this works for those that use Firefox!
