I just got the t919 (behold) but it is so locked down. can't download java apps or set up pop3 email or view HTML.  My friend has a samsung F488. Both phones look like same, it comes to similarities of files in phones..  has the same folder layout. So I use the F488 firmware to my t919. Unfortunately, flash firmware (OS) failure, t919 never boot up again. I have not phone to use since my phone has been bricked, Please help me.

ya but in that thread, it clearly states that the only os you need to use is the behold firmware

if you tried other firmware and it failed.... you officially bricked your phone

also with the Behold, you can only use emails like yahoo, gmail, hotmail, etc... you cannot set up a POP server email... I even got an application that said I could use the POP email, but when it tried, access was denied by T-Mobile

You can probably take it to a T Mobile store, and they can put it on their computer and completely re-do the programming on the phone

I highly doubt a T-mobile store could unbrick a phone. If you're still within the 14 day grace period, take it back and get a new one. If not I think you're SOL.
