I can't find an option to turn it off as well.  I've searched everywhere, I was just hoping I was missing something, but I don't think I am.  Perhaps a update in our future?

but it wont stay that way, every time u write a new text u have to hit the t9 button it should realize if you have the whole keyboard open u wont need to use t9, i guess some prefer it

as far as i can tell its the only way to disable t9 on the behold is as described above,,only for each individual text,,though i will keep looking for away to disable it permanently..

i feel u on that t9..but i'd rather use the t9 option on this phone more then the abc because, when u hold the phone sideways that keyboard is damn annoyin! nd harder to use when ur drivin! i wouldn't recommend textin while drivin. bad habit of mine, i take that back.. i think its a nation wide habit  Embarrassed
