customizing inbox

Hey,
i tried searching everywhere for the answer to my question but that just resulted in me being way more confused.
so i was wondering if there is a hack or anything that can change my menu, inbox, and messaging to Black with white font.
anything i can download or anything?
i hate this plain white, it's extremely boring.
& also how come my menu has different icons then everyone else i know that has the same phone?
