putting a new firmware on the phone is one of the simplest hacks there is, a "hacker" just needs to figure out which firmware to put on, but also realizes he/she can brick their phone testing.

Ooohh... I had 6.1 on my Tmo-WIng, and it was SLOWWWWW... then i got opentouchPalm 7.1 from XDA developers... should have put that on the phone in the first place lol.

i like this software better than WM. but thats just a personal opinion.

I think what we need is a better phone explorer, to take off some bloatware (the locked games, and pictures and some of the useless widgets some of us will never use) and have some replacements.

I would like to be able to link this with my Magellan GPS system. Eh time will tell.

Being a long time WM 5 through 6 user, I'd consider WM a downgrade.

Actually, I've commented in the past that this operating ssytem feels JUST like WM, but it WORKS.  Only thing I'm missing is office.  I found a few notes apps that I'll be trying out after the semester break, but for now I'm still stuck using my WM 6 Dash for taking my notes in college.

After our discussion over on HoFo, I'm not sure what you are looking for.  I led you through some of the options out there, that do navigation just fine.
