Not really. Anything you need you can get from the samsung download center and from this forum.  PC Studio is the only thing that would have come on a cd and you download that directly from Samsung.

ahh i get it. thank you. i can pretty much do that without the disc, so im not gonna even worry about it

Kewl~ I'm gonna mosey on over there and see what ringtones they have. Of course, I already have Brittney Spears' "Circus" ringtone so what more could a girl ask for???

I was gonna ask the same thing. I just picked "other" at the bottom. I was surprised it wasnt listed there.

oops. sorry bout that.  I just put other other.   The f480/490 is the closest on there. Site hasn't updated yet. I wrote samsung about this, haven't heard back yet.   But all the stuff is java and reg ringtones, so putting other other works out pretty good.

Yes, that's the site I signed up on. When I sign in and go to "ringtones" at the top, there's a list of all the goodies there but if you click on anything, the next step takes you to the price to get the ringtone.

I tried that, but it keeps making me have to fill 1/2 of the stuff out and doesn't say why.

I've got all the starred fields filled out.

Also, I do not see the F480 listed on that dropdown.

I'm in the USA Samsungfunclub site, T-Mobile as my carrier.

Just use T-Mobile. Then click on other ( last option).   The pricing screen for the ringtones i've looked at all say 0 under pricing.  Maybe some of them do charge. Not sure haven't gotten that in depth.     Red i did the same thing. it was something stupid like put the slashes in my birthday or something retarded like that.

Also, if you click on "Support" on the top right of the page, there's a section titled, "Top FAQS". Under the question: "What do I need to do to be able to receive content on my phone?" the answer they give is:
"You will need to have a phone that is compatible with wireless content downloads; your phone will need to have GPRS turned on; and you will need a valid credit card in order to purchase the content. GPRS enables your phone to initiate a WAP connection (wireless internet), which is required to download the content."
