they start doing this. I have been with  TMO for about 5 years and have never been forced to pay $9.99 to have their  bad phone replaced. What a lot of bull this is..I told my customer service rep., he said they have been doing this for a year now and you can't have it waved with an override they took away the reps freedom to waive fee... I think this sucks Angry Do you guys know of a way to get this money back .... I hate to pay when its their bad equipment  causing the problem.

Hi, nope I wasn't rude at all. I do not have insurance but my phone is only 5 months old. I have had several phones in the past quit working and they never charged me anything to ship me the phone. Any ideas?

The $9.99 is the default shipping option (2 day UPS express) the rep offers you. You CAN get it shipped for FREE but it is UPS Ground. I know, I had to go Saturday and set up and exchange for my Behold because it's starting to act up really bad. Just FYI the dude told me the Ground Shipping takes about 5 days.  Cool

It's not T-Mo's fault that your phone messed up. It's a sumsung deal... T-Mobile is nice enough to get  you a new phone for free even though you don't have insurance on the phone. Things to take into consideration here are, 1. It's an electronic product, at any point in time it can mess up, or have a problem and T-Mobile is not to blame for that! That's just electronics man. The other thing to conisder is this, that with the economy the way it is, everyone's business is down, even if they're still making a killing on these phones and the rates we pay, the fact is, they aren't making as much as they were before the economy started to struggle, implementing a $9.99 shipping fee should be mandatory to ship things to people... especially when it's not their fault that a Samsung Phone crapped out on you. Not trying to be rude... I'm just asking that you listen to what it is you're actually complaining about. $10.00 may be a lot to some people, but at least they took care of you by sending you a phone right? Anyway, hope all works out with your phone and you get one that doesn't break on you so quickly. The world of electronics is great isn't it?

yup, that is true...at least you didn't have to pay full price for the phone itself.
