Sidekick slide data plan on Behold?

I am buying a Behold from somone.My question is i have a sidekick slide right now with the data plan,will my data plan thats on my sidekick slide work for the data plan on the behold or do i have to switch it over?I was trying to avoid the charge and new 2 year sigh over..Thanks!!!

i believe that any data plan works for any phone.

See, a data plan is for each phone plan that you have (or lets call it THE Plan). That is where you decide what you want (services). The phone, does not really matter since well the plans are the plans, and the phone just carries out what the plan has.

I had another samsung flip phone before the behold and i had the 5.99 plan on it, and when i bought the behold they did not tell me to switch plan at all and the 5.99 plan still worked with the behold.

In a nutshell: there should be a reason for you to switch the plan.

THE Plan is a correct statement. Except when you have a blackberry or a sidekick.  Blackberry and sidekick have specific functions and email accounts tthat come with them that regular handsets don't use.  The sidekick specifically has a special plan that uses the danger.com servers instead of regular tmo servers.  thats why you can get the email and sidekick download catalogs. If you try to use the sidekick plan on a regular handset you will get errors.
