Alright, has this happened to anyone besides me? Cause sometimes it really pisses me off!
Sometimes when i get a txt message when the phone is locked (screen is black), the screen lights up and i see the notification, but i try unlocking it, and it won't unlock, it click all the buttons (call / end call / clear) and the light is still dim (it doesn't go full brightness like when you unlock it). It does that for like 10 seconds then i can finally unlock it when the screen turned off.

Also, sometimes when I get out of a call, the phone just stays lit up and frozen, you can't do anything but power off.

Then at random times the phone reboots, and the micro sd isn't read anymore, so i am forced to take the battery out, take out the micro sd and put it back in just for the phone to read it again.

I'm starting to hate this phone...
I thought it was good with the full 5MP camera, but in the end, im only using 2MP cause 5MP takes too long to take a pic.

I would suggest calling t mobile to get a replacement... most of what you said are common problems and tmobile should definitely send you a replacement behold

My phone had some of the same problems got a new on the way.

Well got my replacement today it has the new 3d icons  and so far the other thing i have found is the little search thing in the phone book is now on the right side so it works better to scan with your thumb and you can see the letters.
If I find anything else I will let you all know.

My behold would not hang up after some calls, unless I powered off. When I called the rep, they stated that "there are no known problems affecting the behold, and I was the first to call in with any problems". They know of these issues, and read from a script stating otherwise.

Did they make you pay shipping just for replacing the phone?

you shouldn't pay anything
because they gave you a defective phone

so you shouldn't have to pay for anything

your just gonna have to return the phone back in the same box

If you go to application settings then to phonebook it gives you a one hand operation for right or left handed which will put the search on the left or right in your phonebook

wait what? you think tmo reps are "out to get you" rofl. i just checked and theres still no known issues with the phone freezing/locking/doing stupid things. theyre not lying to you and youre foolish to think otherwise.
and the rep did not mean you were the first to call in, you were the first to talk to that particular rep about the problem, not to tmobile. now if that rep didnt troubleshoot with you thats a whole different story.

Theres obviously problems with the phone freezing/locking/doing stupid things, just look at the multitude of complaints of that nature on this forum. And Im sure T-Mobile is fully aware of this. Of course t-mobile doesnt want us to think that there are problems effecting almost all of the beholds. I dont think he meant that the rep was out to get him, he was just saying that they were no help

who is this tmo guy? no known problems with the behold? are you serious? so we are all liars on this site? did you bump your head and stumble into this forum on accident? there are numerous T-MOBILE CUSTOMERS on this site who have had their phones replaced due to manufacturer defects. oh i know what it is t mobile just sucks so bad they dont keep track of complaints. that makes more sense.

and what he was saying wasnt that they were out to get him. he was saying that the rep read from a script which would mean that t-mo knows about the problem and decided to give the reps ready made answers for irate customers. "no sir we havent had any complaints of this nature, your the first" etc.

The reason my phone was doing this was because my Micro SD was bad. I had switched from my G1 back to my behold and when I took and put the micro sd back into my phone, it locked my phone up. I called Tmo and the rep said it sounds like it was the battery doing that, so she sent me out a new battery. Got my new battery, put it in, the phone still continued to do it. Called Tmo back up and this time the rep stated to take out my micro sd, my phone worked perfectly. So, my old micro sd is ruined and I had to go and buy me an 8gb micro sd which was fine with me cause now I can store more things on it. But I didn't know that the micro sd cards could go bad like that. Thats why my phone locked up and rebooted itself and since i have had this new card no more problems. I love this phone!!!
