Not sure what to do, any idea's???

I have come across a behold model, when i first got it, it would power on but the previous owner forgot to unlock the phone, so it was password protected.. nice... Now it wil not power up at all. They only way you can get anthing out of it is to have it plugged into the ac adapter and the hit the power, then it will get to the web at your fingertips, then shuts off.  I can do the volume button and power button to get the boot error screen.  And i did order a data cable that should be here any time now... I just wonder if it is bricked...

where is that??? i need some instructions....plz
