So how long does it usually take before new phones come out with the updates??? I keep checking my phone under "Software Update". Hey! Iknow! Maybe they have made updates but that's just another glitch right. The updates arent showing, and they're working on that too~
Just teasing!! I dont mean to sound so.  Grin Cheesy

Lol. I wouldn't doubt it.

Get these cats on their job! Contact them, complain and make them release a patch for this MESSAGE ALERT/PhoneKiller issue as well as general lack of support or firmware updates.

or go to:

and click TMOBILE. Nag these lazy losers. Make sure you have your IMEI and S/N ready (located under battery).

I am gonna call them~ That's the same number to Samsung that one of the TMobile reps had given me some days ago but I hadnt called them yet. I just traded mine in for another one this morning and now I dont think my email messages are doing right. I dont think Im getting any email alerts anymore. The GPS on this new phone STILL doesnt work. I've tried it on the other one I had about 15 times. It goes all the way to about 96% and then says "GPS signal weak. Find better sky view". I was at least  wanting to try it out during the 2 week trial period to see if I'd like it but I'm not paying to get that service if tis' never going to work. Blah-

Uh oh...I think we are about to lose Prec18. lol.

Hold on another week. I'm sure they are feeling and hearing the complaints.
That or they go down in flames with Palm (who I adored) and Motorola.

Every ringer or tone on the t919 Behold is an increasing tone. That's the problem. Meaning that the default installed tones are to short to really hear them. When you are in here

"Menu -> Settings -> Sound Profiles -> Normal (or which ever profile you want to customize) -> Press the Down arrow on the top right corner for "Message" -> And Customize your Text Message Notification "

you need to go into "Sounds" in the lower right hand corner and use a ringtone sound from the default library or one that you downloaded for free at http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/

I am using the THX Dolby Surround Sound as my text alert.

I downloaded a few tones from that site and they still sound really really low.

What if they decide to just "go down in flames" instead of fixing the problems the Behold users are experienceing?? LOL
Either they give a damn or they dont but no way to tell. It's a 50/50 thing to see which way it turns out to be...  Shocked Sad Angry Cheesy

My THX tone is 14 seconds long. How long is your tone?

Prec, Dan is right. I saw his post on the main page and he explained the longer ringtone getting a very niiiice volume when its longer thanks to the phone being locked into INCREASING RINGTONE by default.

I used the strange HIGHWAY (pre-installed in headset already) which is about an hour long (kidding) and it works great and gets VERY loud!

Sammy Sung...no more default locks please! Open this baby up and let us do the walking.

Thanks Dan.

Ps; the browser and non-threaded is still crappy so keep on complaining.
lol.

I really do hate that the text messages arent threaded (unlike with the Palm Centro and Treo right??)
But okay- so I have to find an alert that's long enough but that still doesnt make me feel better. Here's why: It's supposed to be an "alert" (short) not a detailed, drawn out notification or shall I say, "ringtone".
On the other hand, this will have to do (for now) as a work around...  Angry Cheesy Smiley

It is a bug, someone posted something before, can't remember who, that it's supposed to play out the speaker, but it's playing out the ear piece instead so we can't hear it.  samsung hasn't done anything about it.

Soon enough they should. I'm gonna say maybe 1-2 weeks before we get updates or responses to the bugs/problems.
