Why does my amAze GPS now only go to the first blue screen and stay there? Any ideas?

reboot your handset, if that doesn't fix it. reload. @ Dan

Gionet, you've input something wrong.  Unless they recently went to a password screen.

Okay, so I was able to download again. I'll give this another try. I have never had so many issues with anything for a phone, and I have hacked a few.

I just entered a few addresses into the Favs, we will see how long this lasts again.

I have Telenav on my blackberry Pearl and I love it to death. It actually was better than my girlfriend's Garmin on a road trip we took a few months back. I wonder if this is a newer version that's so crappy because it was very responsive on an EDGE connection. I'll have to check it out.

I GIVE UP. I AM FINISHED WITH THIS SOFTWARE! Now it always tells me that I am on 13th and Rawson. WHEREVER I AM! ALWAYS! I went to the internal settings again and it switched to Germany. I switched it all back and it still thinks I am where I was a week ago. NO MORE FOR ME! I'M DONE!

Most people, including myself, have found that TeleNav sucks. Just like u said.  Angry

Yes...it does suck...but I have found a better solution.  I just googled "free java GPS" and found one that works great.  It's amAze.  I had problems downloading it though.  My phone's web browser kept giving me an error message when I tried to link to the download page.  I got around this by trying to get to the page on my computer and then typing the entire web address of the download page into my phone's web browser and SHAZAM!!! I have a free GPS.  It's pretty fast (and has turn by turn directions with a satellite hybrid map).  Navigating through it's menus is very different than Telenav so play around with it before you give up.  If anyone has any others they have come across let me know.

Here is the main site for amAze:  http://www.amazegps.com/welcome.php

And here is the addy I typed into my phone's browser (if you have the same problem I did):

http://dl.locationet.com/LNdownload/versions/amaze/amaze45/samsung-sgh-t919/?token=B3A0922A-CDBF-4FBC-B554-CCEF642C4B8D

I know it's a long one...but it's worth it for free Nav.  (Also note that this version was specifically rated for the Behold)

The only map that shows on my amaze is the "Map View"...Do I need to download maps for the Hybrid & Satellite view??? They dont show...

I download jar, jad file ( for T919) in my PC and use TKfileexplore to install to my T919. But after update JAva data, I can not find amazegps in Game & Appliaction. I dont know why.??
I 've already installed Opera mini, Gmaps, and they work well.

Do you have any suggestion for my case?

Thanks alot.
