Going to get the new Samsung Memoir Today!

I just called Tmobile and the Memoir just came in today. Since I bought my Behold less than 30 days ago, I can trade it in and still get the full discount which is $249.00 after a $50.00 discount.

So I am trading the Behold for the Memoir. I am hoping that all of the applications that I got from this forum can be installed on the new Memoir, and the phone is better.

If it does not work out, I can always return the Memoir for a Behold within 30 days.

I will report on how it goes.

And its a lot thicker... I would stick with the behold but if your not losing any money in the process, why not?!

The phones over rated.  I work at a tmo authorized store and the phones ok like others have posted its just a 8mp camera and thicker so stick with the behold.

nah i checked out the phone just about 10 minutes ago. its exactly like the behold with the 3d icons. the picture quality is better, but not as much as you would think. took a picture with it, and then with my behold of the same thing, not a whole lot of difference. other then that its exactly the same as the behold, but thicker like everyone has said. it is a little lighter then the behold but who cares, that might be a bad thing anways. i'd stick with the behold, cause despite what u said about all the efforts goin towards the memoir, im pretty sure the memoir has completely the exact same firmware/software as the behold. so an update will probably be used for both phones

I got the Memoir phone. It is awesome. It is more intuitive than the Behold. I will post more later.

The hack didn't work for me so I used Opera Mini but that kept freezing and was too buggy.
I just used the default browser and found it to be not all that bad.

Seems to me the gizmondo review was pretty positive on the Memoir:  "The Verdict: A pretty damn good cameraphone."

I think the big question is it worth the price difference vs. the Behold if the only real difference is the camera?  That probably depends on how often you will use the camera.
