Samsung Behold - front camara?

front camara?

i do not remember where i read this : the behold has a 1.2mp front camara for messenger
what are the 2 small dots next to the speaker? if anyone can answer my domme question thanks.

I don't know about that, as I have always understood that the Behold has a 5 MP camera with xenon flash.

actually, its a led flash, xerons do not stay on for a extended time like the beholds

That is supposedly what one of those "dots" on the front is. (The other is the light sensor). However, I believe the tocco, being basically the same phone but European, has the software and we don't. For whatever reason, the software for video messaging was left off the Behold.

One is a light sensor the other is a proximity sensor so that it can lock when you put your face near it

Sorry for trying to help. I don't appreciate the snide comments either. There is a way to correct someone politely, instead of being rude and thinking you're better than someone.

We're all still learning...some faster than others and considering I don't spend every waking hour here, I'm in the latter category. I'll gladly accept being wrong, but only if correction is done in a more polite manner.

yeah seems to me like OReilly is letting his position go to his head just cuz he spends all day on this forum posting doesnt mean he has to be rude when people try to help...Someone had to say it lol its not the first time this happens

even if it did have a front camera, who wants to see a blocky fottage of you speaking out of sync....I wouldn't buy a phone with a phone cam until a 50G network is available. And I don't think his comment was rude...could have been sarcastic. deal with it, it's cyberspace Lips sealed

It seems as recently as May of this year, there are those who still believe the Behold features a front facing camera (however wrong they may be).

There are those that believe Tupac is on the moon with Elvis, so I guess that makes that true too.

Edit* Samsung Behold"s official manual. the line pointing to BOTH dots states "Light sensors use the light levels to adjust both screen brightness and contrast, and keypad access.

Looks like sensors is plural. Now I'm no English major, but I believe that means more then one. and there's only two dots.... hmmm
I guess its INVISIBLE.
