Behold Stopped working

Hi guys, I am new to this forum, and since its a lot about the samsung behold, i need help with mine... So i've had my phone for at least a year now and I've never really encountered any problems... Just last morning my phone turned off and wouldn't turn back on. I took out the battery for like 30 minutes, put it back in and it worked again, later that day I went to the pool and came back to my phone not working again, this time i wasnt able to fix it... I don't believe it had water damage because i kept my backpack with my phone in it away from the water... I put my battery and phone in a bag of rice just in case overnight, and it still doesnt work... Im not sure what happened but I found out that the problem is within the phone and not the battery because I tried my brothers battery which is for the same phone. I have no idea what to do, it just wont turn on at all...
