I got the idea after this thread: CLICK where the poster asked if leaving you're phone plugged in for extended periods, or if charging it every night would hurt..so here are some FAQ's about Li-On batteries!

Will it hurt my phone or battery in any way if i charge it to much?
It won't hurt the battery to leave it plugged in.  But you should unplug the Dare before you place calls.

If it says Charge complete does it have to be un plugged immediately?
Leaving it plugged in is NOT bad for the battery.  Modern chargers and batteries have sensors which "turn off" the charger once the battery is fully charged.

Should I let my battery go completely dead every so often to extend it's life?
Another myth.  Modern lithium-ion batteries do not need to be drained completely.  In fact, doing so is actually bad for lithium-ion batteries.

Is there a faster charger for my battery?
No. Manufacturers of lithium-ion cells have very strict guidelines in charge procedures and the pack should be charged as per the manufacturers "typical" charge technique.

Do I need to charge my battery for X amount of hours when I first get it?
No. Lithium-ion is a very clean system and does not need priming as nickel-based batteries do. The 1st charge is no different to the 5th or the 50th charge.

I DISAGREE. My battery life went from 10 - 10 1/2 hrs on only phone calls to 58 - 62 hrs on every use possible of the phone. AFTER I CONDITIONED THE BATTERY.

Conditioning your battery,

Let your battery die, charge it straight through for 12 - 24 hrs., repeat two to three times.

When I first get a rechargeable battery I always do this first. My battery was lasting me two days with heavy use (web, text, calls, music and videos). One weekend I was not able to charge it because I had not planned on staying at my friends. I had only charged in with my computer and the data cable a few hours in two days. After this the battery would die around 7 pm with only some texts and some calls (because I was trying to get what I could out of it). I then conditioned the battery three times and it's now lasting longer then it did before this all happened. At the end of the night, I have only used one bar on the battery indicator. It is healthy for the battery to do this once in awhile (maybe every two to three months).

I have to agree on conditioning the battery. I had never done this before and I usually had bad luck with battery life. When I got my last phone before the Behold, I conditioned it similar to what is posted above. I greatly improved my battery life. So I respectfully disagree on this on subject.

I just read the first post, all the questions and answers.

If you read your user's manual, it states that your phone's battery will be at its best functionality after 2-3 full chargings.

question to the people who conditioned their phones:
after doing so, do you currently charge your phone on a daily basis? thanks.

not usually, but it depends on how much data i use cause that can chew up the battery. Usually i get two full days easy.
