Hey guys, hows the battery life on the behold- i dont have 1 yet.
Is it a lithium ion battery?
does it have tht chip which does not let the battery overcharge if u have it connected to the charger for long periods of time?

it's a lithium battery and im not sure about that chip

it might not have it because the manual advises not to charge it for more than 12 hours straight

it looks like it does have the chip, sometimes at like 3am my phone vibrates saying battery charging complete.  my other phones just kept charging.

thnx 4 the replies. tht makes sense to say it mite have the chip cos u sed the fone notifies u abt the full charge. but i did read sumwhere on this site sum1 sayin tht if u overcharged the fone in the very beginning it wld lead 2 fast battery drain in the future. it wld be gr8 if sum1 had an accurate answer. thnx guys!!

    you missed what i was saying. If you constantly charge the fone before it's dead it will start losing it's charge quickly.  I don't have a problem with my fone.  I've heard mixed about the battery, but to me it's fine. i left my fone on customer service (test line call IRS *giggle*) for 2 hours and the fone didn't die.

Battery is pretty good so far. I stay on the phones for hours on ends using bluetooth even. Looks like the rated 5 hours talk time is true.

all i know is its better than the shadow's battery, even tho they gave away free extended batts Grin

mine is pretty good. I listen to music for a little bit, and talk on it and I get a solid 2 days out of it

ok, so, is it best to let the battery die before recharging it? I've alway been one to try and keep as many bars as possible on my phone.

I love the battery one this phone.  I can go without 2 days of charging it and i usually don't charge it until i have one bar left.  It's good to me!

I've never done that. Because somewhere along the line, I was brainwashed to beleive that there is a such ting as overcharging your battery which will juice the life out of it. Dont know if that's altogether true though. LOL
