I got a text message a bit ago...

Samsung alerts.
Your request to join the Alerts Service has timed out.  To Join, Reply ALERT to 62407.  Help?  Reply HELP.

I never, like EVER, get spam texts, and I don't know where else this would have come from.

Anyone heard of this?

Yes, I've been there, I signed up for the fun club but haven't really got to do anything there.  I did allow the boxes to remain checked to send me alerts and stuff, so this is why I'm thinking it's from them.

It is part of samsungs official website.Another way for them to make money by charging for pics and ringtones.You can also get some general tech support questions answered there. They sent me the same text when I registered on their site.

Uh huh. I did uncheck the boxes that "Dont send me any emails or junk offers" because I already get enough stuff already~  Tongue
