I just picked up a Behold, but only with a text plan, not an internet plan of any kind. The 3G icon is always on, however, at the top of the phone. Am I getting charged for this? I am not going on the internet, instant messaging, or anything of that sort, but the 3G icon is still up there. Is there a way to turn it off? I don't want to get charged extra for something I am not using... Thanks!

my friend with a different service provider had a samsung phone and it says "3g" on the top all the time no matter what you do

no you cant get charged tmo is just tryin to show off and let you know that your in a 3g area
