i dnt kno if this already known but i jus came across it.

press DOWN (dont slide..."press") on the bump(the lil thing ment 2 slide cover off) rather than pushin up(sliding it)

then, put ur fingernail on the rim of the cameras lens(the batteries cover) and slide it up, while still pressing down on the bottom bump....

hope this helps

I'd have to agree. I just wouldnt use such harsh language to describe a member of this forum...

It's pretty simple to take off the battery cover. I'm sure most of them figured it out when they put they're battery cover ON. When I took mine out of the box, it looked pretty simple.

well i am not being negative i just feel that MOST PEOPLE would've put their own battery in with that being said they should better know how to take it off i mean it was common sense for me and i dont think that many idiots would be in the hype of getting the phone let alone signing up on a forum for the phone so yea i am just stating its pretty sad when the person who created this forum didnt have the common sense and thought it was cool that they discovered such a thing

such a true statement!  But do you know that 58% of the stuff we repost on here is from the manual.  Once again. People try to help. and ask questions that some might find simple.  This forum is for questions and answers.  You my friend know how to take the batt cover off.  I'm a Network engineer.  I talk to people everyday about what i think are the simplest of problems.  I learned as well as others should, that not everybody knows what i know.
