So everyone knows how to get the IMEI number I presume...

*#06#...but there is a keypad attached within that...if you push a series of keys (from what I can tell it doesn't really matter which ones) For test's sake try: ******8272892 (its just random guessing)

Then you push the back key multiple times, the IMEI number will disappear and you will be left with a menu....

[1] Debug Screen
[2] Version Information
[3] RF Test
[4] UMTS rf nv
[5] Read gsm rf nv
[6] Write gsm rf nv
[7] Base Band
[8] Audio
[9] Common

Not quite sure what this menu is yet...just found it.

Anyone else find it before me? Or wanna help me figure out what it does...I saw something about the firmware and writing the firmware...I wonder if we could use what's in here to assist with flashing?

 Huh Huh Huh No clue...

Just thought I would mention it...

This is one of the administrator settings menus.
From here, you can do all sorts of field testing (looking at the various bands the phone supports, running all the tests they do in the factory with the parts of the phone...).
Right now, there are several useful things one can do in this menu. If you go to "Common" and then look at the USB mode, you can change the USB mode in this  menu to "Qualcomm USB", which can be used to set the phone in a special diagnostic mode for unlocking through the computer and flashing....
You can also adjust the speaker, headset and ringtone volumes to a certain degree in the Audio menu.

These are they ones I know of off the top of my head...

Awesome! Thank you. Wasn't quite sure what I had stumbled upon...

But now I know...or have something to go off of!

There's some very cool, very advanced stuff in there....
This is the part of the phone you have to be MOST careful with though.

there's a reason (some) of use don't post how to do's on the internal settings.  Me i'm on my second behold. so just let it stay at that.  something you don't mess with if you don't know what you doing. I'm a network administrator. not a programmer. i diddle in programming so i know where to draw the line.  coding can be hazardous to your equipment. i prog in C# and a "," in the wrong place can brick your fone. so stay away from this stuff, if you don't know what you are doing.

trust me it does brick the phone...luckily i only had mine for a few days and t-mo had no major questions...just grabbed me a new box and i was out the door.

just dont do it-messing with settings (that havnt been confirmed to work) is a bad idea alltogether!
