sd card problem

Every few hours I receive a message from the notification bar that says. Preparing external sd card. Whatever pictures or music files I have saved will be deleted. Very frustrating. I have lost a lot of files. Any solutions?

hm... thats weird, is it the SD card that they gave you with your phone?

Yes it is the card that came with my phone. Its frustration because any picture or audio file I save will be deleted when that message pops up. Preparing external sd card.

Try copying whatever you have left to your pc or mac and format the sd card. im sorry i cant be much help, i have never heard of that happening
