Question about Calander and Word Processing?

So, this may be a long shot, but is there any sort of word processing app that I can put on my phone?  I guess what I'm looking for is some way to write something out and then save it to either send to myself in an email or just upload to my PC.

As for the calander, I find it annoying that when you view it by week, it shows the day by a 24 hour clock (where like 2 pm is 14:00).  Honestly, it just confuses me and I didn't see anything in the calander settings to fix it.  I was wondering if maybe someone found something in the internals...I just don't want to go messing around with it and mess up my phone =]  Thanks to anyone who can help in advance!
