So I'm a bit confused as to how large of a micro SD card the Behold can accept.  On Samsung's website it says 16 gigs, but in the instruction manual that came with my Behold it says it only supports up to 8 gigs.  Which one is true?

I vouch for 16GB because i have it in my phone and it works perfectly
might i add with the bigger size the more of the space you use it will start to take longer to open it as the card gets full

Yes I read your post it will handle th 16 gig but depending on how much you put on it it can make your phone lag. I have an 8 gig and if you read the other post other people talk about what they have. Not trying to be rude.

Alright thanks.  I was just a little confused as to why the official Samsung instruction manual says that it can only hold up to an 8 gig card

i say get an 8gb. i have about 500 songs, 100 pics, and a few movies on it and im barely halfway done. you wont need 16gb unless you need a million songs on it.

but thats what ipods are for

What I'm considering doing is, instead of getting a 16gb card and experiencing the lag, getting a SECOND 8gb card and loading it up and switching whenever i need to...

if switching out cards isnt a big deal for you id definitely do that, cuz if you shop around you could get 3-4 8gbs for the price of 1 16gb

haha, thats smart but i personally think itd be a bit bothersome to switch around cards. for example, you load one card with a ton of music and the other with pics and videos, or whatever. youd have to switch just to view the other files. since the phone doesnt have hotswapping or whatever its called youll have to take out the battery each and every time. just a thought.

thats true
im doing fine with just a 4 gig card
i have about 400 (not sure) songs on it
100 (not sure) pics on it many movies and videos too
and im doing fine with it
but of course, if you're a person who listen to tons and tons of songs and has many vids etc, 8 gigs shud be good
16 gigs is a bit too much and too expensive

but to answer your orignal question, yeah the behold can support upto 16 gigs i think
