With the browser hack (other sites display full HTML) in effect, yahoo.com for some odd reason still displays the retarded mobile version.

I check my stocks frequently on yahoo finance, which is the most useful one for me.

Even on opera mini, yahoo.com still displays the mobile version.

Is this happening for everybody or just me? Some sites like google and myspace give you the option to switch to the full or classic versions which is the HTML, but yahoo is a no show on this matter.

Any suggestions?

I don't have my behold yet but will be getting it next week. On my Sony Ericsson yahoo will show up mobile with opera mini, but if you use the teashark browser it will show the pc site, same for google.

In Opera if you tap in a blank area for a few seconds you can change from mobile view.

many big sites are programmed to redirect you once they see a cell phone you can get around it by googling a link to a page on the site that does not have the redirect code then book mark that page...

I had the same problem,  I am phone enthusiast who works in the Finance Industry.  Here's what I do.

1)  Go to Yahoo.com
2)  While in the cruddy mobile version I click on (Menu) ---> (Enter Address)
3)  Get the cursor do just before the word yahoo and click delete twice

You go from:
http://us.m.yahoo.com/?tsrc=yahoo

To:
http://us.yahoo.com/?tsrc=yahoo

4)  Click on Menu then Go To
5)  Make that site a bookmark and you never have to go through that torture again

thanks for the suggestions guys

I actually google'd Yahoo Finance and accessed it from there. I bookmarked whichever stocks I own and they come out beautifully along with the chart.
