Scratch that statement. I'm getting a G1 tonight so I could care less about the iPod Touch/Behold anymore.

Quick question. If you have to return your phone a certain amount of times, will they give you a chance to just get a new phone. My phone has blue marks like in the screen. I want to just get a new behold. But if I do that a few times, do they just exchange? If so, how many times do you need to return it?

i believe after the 3rd return you have the option to switch

yea it's the third time, then you get the option for another behold, g1, or wing

As per the tech at TMO, they still don't know what the replacement for the handset is.  It's not even in the system yet from what she says. She tried to look it up as if i was doing an equipment exchange before i ordered my 3rd Behold last week.  She said there's nothing there so if i return this one, the policy states a handset that is compatible with the wing.  The Wing, and the G1 are the only handsets that are not outdated and have the same touch features.

Well i couldnt find anyone to trade on craigslist but I did find someone to buy it.   YEAH!!!!!

My white g1 is in the mail. Yea me.

that whole situation is messed up because they tell you after 3 exchanges they will give you a different phone but when it comes time to do that they say that there is nothing available at the moment..

they will not let you pick at all .. they tried to give me a black berry 8120. its not even a touch screen..

they will just keep tryin to give you another behold ..

since i had all that trouble in so little time i got them to let me keep mine and my girls beholds and then send me 2 g1's for $150. each. now my girl and i have the g1 and we have the week old beholds that we are going to sell for $200. a piece with everything plus 4 hard cases and a extra battery and 2 silicone cases.

the g1 is awesome.. . it has a free app store with sooo many apps and games . its ten times better than the behold . now if they give the behold a big big update then it wont be a bad phone..

i just wish you guys luck and thanks for everything !!!

I will and I will give the young lady that I am selling it to the info for this site. Eventhough I wasnt here long this forums did have some really good information. Just didnt like the java side of the phone. I came from the dash expecting for this one to be comparable but I was incorrect.

The Behold is far from a bad phone. Although, I did return it to get the G1. But then I decided to return the Behold for full price and use the money to cancel my contract and get the iPhone 3G. Cool

So yeah, I'm with AT&T now and am always getting great reception like I did with T-mobile.

The iPhone is the best phone/handheld device I have ever had, hands down. There are also thousands of free apps.

The G1 also has an apps store, which is great. Samsung should have made the Behold a smart phone. The Behold has potential if it gets an update. It would be cool for it to have an app store. But at least you get the full HTML browser by doing the hack for it.

The behold may not be a bad phone, but tmo and samsung have crippled it enough so the final product is a good phone, but nothing more.

True the phone needs a lot of work but it's a really good phone if you just need it for movies, video, music, games. Keep in mind it's not a smartphone, sounds like that's what you (those who left) were looking for. I knew that coming in (Java hello!). This was more of a test to see if all touchphone is what I wanted. This is the funest phone I've had so far (with the help of this site)! My next one will be the G2 or Samsungs Android phone. We'll see what happens in June. KIT guys.
