clear hard case
mirror screen
i didnt do the mirror backplate
the hard case feels fragile but is quite sturdy and resistant. its hard to get off the first few times, having to use a credit card would be best. after the plastic is slightly worn down from taking it on and off, using your nails should work and the case should still clamp securely. the only problems ive seen are that in your pocket dust and small particles and crawl under the plastic and are impossible to remove without taking off the case (quite irritating). also the proximity sensor is slightly slanted, so for a perfectionist like me it bugs me.

the mirror screen, overall, is just as good as a regular screen. why? pros and cons even out. having a mirror on your phone is pretty tight, but unless you can get the bubbles out real well, looking at yourself from a distance will reveal a mirror funhouse effect. bubbles are noticeable because they make certain parts of the reflection distort. up close you wont notice it. also, while you can see the phones lit screen, if you focus on the screen you can still see a reflection. this bothers me a bit because movies and games are a bit harder top watch and play. glare can be a problem too. the biggest problem i have is that the screen is very fragile, like a vinyl sort of material. if you lightly scratch it with your fingernail, tap it too hard, or accidentally rub it against something, a small mark is made. just like the mirror effect itself, its not noticeable if you dont pay attention but can be a problem for perfectionists.
all in all, its not a bad hookup and id recommend it to people who want cheap and effective protection overall (as long as youre not a perfectionist...)
wow, i wrote a lot.
