Author Topic: Onlybehold.com, very shady business. Beware.  (Read 1448 times)

I ordered some stuff from onlybehold.com for my phone (a cover and screen protector to be specific) over a week ago ( i think its been 10 days passed now), and i paid for the 3rd day shipping (im leaving for school in two days, so i wanted to make sure i will get the items in time).

Anyways, i have yet to recieve either item. After failing to get an email response from them, i called, and finally got through after about 15 attempts (busy signals). When i finally got through, i was promptly put on hold.

Finally, i got to talk to somebody, and i was informed that my cover was shipped out last thursday, meaning they took FOREVER to even process the order. They also told me that my screen protector has yet to be shipped.

I asked for a refund on the extra shipping i paid, and they refused without flinching.



Just thought i would give everyone a heads up. I wont be doing business with them ever again.

Pass the word around if you are a member on other forums please!

On the Dare forum, there were similar complaints to onlydare.com...I wonder if they are the same company...most likely. The complaints were similar to yours...slow service, bad service, bad products.

I had a similar experience, no email shipment notification, no email response.  I did get someone on the first call, they were not friendly but were able to tell me when the item shipped.  Beware of paying for faster shipping from any company, it just means they'll use a faster shipping service not that they will send it out faster.  BTW, I did get my leather case finally - on the day they told me by phone - and I do love it.  It looks nice and is more attractive than others I saw.

Thank you for the warning.  I've yet to pay for any type of expedited shipping (I'm just a stingy b!tch when it comes to that stuff) but I can't stand poor customer service especially when they are obviously in the wrong.

i received the case last night, and put it on as well.

It doesnt fit worth a crap!

The back piece seems to fit nicely, but the front piece clips into the back piece. Where they clip together, the front piece barely fits around the phone and bends out a little bit. It does clip on, but the edges dont match up, and the front piece edges stick out further than the back piece edges.

There is also slight gapping, as if the pieces are trying to pull away from each other.

I'll be using this case until i find a new one (probably today).


Hopefully the screen protector will be better quality, i dont know how you can mess that one up  Huh


EDIT: Does anyone know of a reliable site that cells decent phone covers?

Totally agree . A long waiting time , untill I got my "transparent clear cover",and screen protector.. by the way , my clearcase is garbage and it broke(the side holders are really weak).. Very shady business and garbage products indeed!!!

P.S I went with a black rubber coated plastic case from e-bay for 5 bucks , and it's great

I received my screen protector and rubber case within 5 days or less. Pretty good service from HandHeldItems.

Just a little update about onlybehold.com for everyone.

I called onlybehold the day i posted this thread, and they said that my screen protector would be shipped the following day (with 2 day rush delivery)

I have yet to receive my screen protector.

Also, the case that i bought was really bugging me with how it fit my phone. When i went to remove it, the tabs that click together broke (just as a poster stated a few posts ago)

f*cking scamming jerks.

Ugh i should have remember about this post, this past Friday i ordered the mirror screen protector for my behold and never received  a confirmation email. we'll lets see what happens :p

I think i ordered a case and a car charger from them for my behold once. They only sent my car charger and of course I couldn't ask for a refund.

OH my lord , same here , i ordered 2 covers, but i received only one of them n i havent seen another one yet. I called them n they just kept saying that " oh yea , it'll be delivery at the end of the week" n i still havent seen it so far. What should i do now to get another one Huh? HELP HELP
